A tunnel ventilation malfunction caused by a power outage shut down 1 Line light rail service from the University District to downtown Seattle for about three hours Saturday afternoon.
Sound Transit reported the service suspension went into effect around 3 p.m. from the University of Washington Station to Westlake Station. Bus shuttles filled the gap while trains were stopped.
