Sound Transit blamed Monday’s heat wave for a chain-reaction wire damage which blocked light rail service at Redmond Technology Station, next to Microsoft.
Buses continued to replace trains all day Tuesday. An expected light rail restart was postponed all evening due to “unforeseen circumstances” in the restoration effort, a rider alert said.
